Ok I know I'm late with the Grammy re-cap but it took two days just to go through all the red carpet photos and get them loaded. But now that I have I'm gonna show you how the stars hit the red carpet Sunday night ... some were fashion DOs and some were just DONTs ...

Rapper Ludacris looking quite dapper in this Armani suit with silver/white tie. He said during the red carpet preview that he'd just come from chillin' with Armani in Milan, Italy (Fashion week) and personally chose to wear this suit out of a "new found respect" for Armani.
Snoop looking very skinny but very chic.
I didn't see Lyfe during the pre-interviews but found out he did attend. Looking dapper-homeless as usual.
Nominee Musiq (who was up for 2 awards and won nothing) looking cute and classic. Not sure if I like the vest but the tie is nice!
Ne-Yo, who took home a Grammy for Best Contemporary R&B Album (beating my girl Emily King AND Fantasia) was considered one of the best dressed men of the night. All those different grays don't do it for me but the suit and the shoes are BAD. I'm glad he covered up that ugly head!
Speaking of Emily King, the nominee was almost unrecognizable in this ensemble. It make her look 20 pounds heavier, but she's still a cute diva-in-training. If you don't have her CD, GET IT!
American Idol Fantasia, who was a mutiple-nominee, arrives with beau, Young Dro, in a beautiful black gown. Her hair, is another story - part black, part blond ... it was crazy.
Bride-to-be Fergie in a very-yellow gown. A lot of stars looked like they were going to the Oscars instead of the Grammys but I like this look on Fergie. She actually looks her AGE!
Jay-Z, sans Beyonce, in a elegant tux with a lapel pin full of bling. Doesn't he look older every time you see him?
I'm happy for my girl JILLY from Philly. A Grammy win despite the heartache ... but that dress ... NO MA'AM ... her boobs look HUGE and that hair is NOT IT ... SMH ... Still WUV you tho Jill!
Nas' wife -- I mean Kelis -- Looking like she just stepped outta the 70's. As you can see the duo walked the carpet dressed very down ... Him with a t-shirt blazing the word NIGGER and her with a matching jacket. They claim to be making a statement ... but seriously ... it's just publicity for his album that's been pushed back several times because of that title. SMH at them both ... I need y'all to do better!

A mis-matched pair ... and I'm not just talking about their outfits lol. Legendary daughter Natalie Cole in what appears to be a tie-dye dress (ugh) and Seal in PURE white (if he didn't smile, he'd be a black dot) ... paired with velcro hi-tops ... Just WHY? SMH.
Speaking of dark-ass people in inappropriate clothing ... here's AKON in all-black and FUR .. WTF? I almost feel sorry for my girl CHRISETTE (who was nominated for her AWESOME single "If I Have My Way") ... she's reppin' for the Thik Chiks but picked the WRONG person to be photographed with lol.
Folks love to hate on Ri-Ri but this is my girl. Love the shorter cut (cuz folks was bitin' the do waaaay too hard) and the dress is not exactly MY taste but looks cute on her. LOOOOVE the color. Kudos Rihanna ... who took home a trophy for her hit "Umbrella".
Raheem Devaughn -- ok my homies love him but I'm still not getting it. I think him and Chris B. (below) could tie for Bad Suits of the Night. It's a bit too much Raheem.
I watched the E! Fashion Police the night after the Grammys and they described this ensemble as "Ghetto Prom Wear" .. ROFL .. Chris said that he helped design his 'fit for the night. I guess since he didn't perform he wanted to make sure he got some attention. Well boo-boo, all attention is not good attention ... You look atrocious. (Call me!) lol
Ok, who dressed Corrine Bailey Rae? The nominee has sequins for days and it looks like she used a piece of sheer curtain to tie around her mid-section, and then slapped some mary janes on her feet? She don't have no friends 'cause they actually let her outta the house like that.
Oh, Keyshia ... Can we just decide ONCE to use some cover-up for those tatts? The dress is CUTE though and the shoes too. Not sure if I like the black hair though. Hmmm.
Alicia Keys took home 3 awards but none of them were for this hideous hairdo. This "faux hawk" as it was called was a no-no. I love the dress but it was a bit much for the Grammys. She shoulda saved it for the Oscars or prom even .. SMH
Beyonce walked the carpet with her sis, Solange (where is the friggin' baby?) Knowles. Solange was a presenter that night. Bey's dress -- horrendous ... Hair -- looks more fake than usual, but it's cute short. Solange ... look like a big black ball of confusion. A double dose of NO, if you ask me.
And the HOT ASS MESS award go to actress Bai Ling for this Christmas Elf ensemble. It looks like an elementary school art project gone wrong.
FOR THE MOST PART, THE FASHIONS WERE GREAT ... BUT AS YOU CAN SEE, SOME PEOPLE NEED TO FIRE THEIR STYLISTS ...
