GRAMMY RED CARPET: The Women of '09

The ladies in the music industry did NOT disappoint when it came to red carpet fashion this GRAMMY season. Some looked elegant and classy and some a hot mess ... Here are the best and the worst of the night:

Oscar winner -- and now GRAMMY winner -- Jennifer Hudson poses with fiance' (and former I Love New York contestant) David Otunga.

American Idol FANTASIA looks cute for a change in this shimmery, fringy number, but the shoes -- not hot.

Singer (and former Destiny's Child member) LETOYA LUCKETT

(some blogs are saying this outfit was hot, but I'm NOT loving it .. Shoes are too big and the dress is too short for those bird legs ... No ma'am .. from the waste up -- FAB)

2009 nominee M.I.A. (Paper Planes singer) was due on GRAMMY night and still managed to show up and show out on the red carpet. I don't love the outfit but I have to give the girl props for even coming out AND performing!!!

The Simmons girls (aka Angela and Vanessa) get my vote for BEST DRESSED. LOVE it .. ALL of it

PAULA ABDUL lookin -- well -- weird.
